The Neighborhood Pub & Grill At Ellery's

I came here on Labor day night and was unsure if their kitchen was still open. I saw an outdoor area and multiple indoor dining rooms. Initially I was not greeted by a staff member on entry (door by lot) but i found a cook/chef in the back who said the kitchen would close soon and he advised to go around to the bar. I had difficulty getting his attention the first time I walked in from the lot door (I thought he was doing some calculations) and that's why i went outside and found a chef. When I went back into the bar area I was able to get his attention and he was really nice and accommodated me very well despite the kitchen closing in 5 minutes at 9pm. Nice stop for a drink or a meal. The food was really good, I had the meatloaf and French Onion soup and would recommend both. The staff is very friendly and accomadating. And they have TVs all over the place. Their parking lot is small, but there is ample street parking available.

This was a complete disaster from start to finish. The place looked rundown and the service was honestly some of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. We were ignored, attitudes everywhere, and nobody seemed to know what they were doing. People here are very trashy and the owner is rude and drunk and obnoxious. The food was even worse cold, bland, and thrown together like they didn’t care at all. For the prices they charge, it’s a joke. I’ve had better food at gas stations. Overall, Ellery’s is a mess. Bad service, bad food, bad atmosphere. Save your time and your money — literally anywhere else would be an upgrade.

I've been coming here for several years now. This is my local go to spot. I always have a good time. In the winter they have bands on weekends inside.There's a full bar, high tops, and a dining room in back. In the summer the bands are outside on their patio. They have smoking and non smoking areas for seating out on the patio. There is also a new VIP lounge outside. Call ahead to reserve. I'm not sure if there's a charge. Ellery's does have an outside bar with seating in two places. If a popular band like Squad 5 is playing you need to book a reservation way in advance to get a table. (It gets so busy when certain bands play the wait for food can take an hour.) Feel good, hometown bar! Great place to go for any occasion! The drinks are delicious as well as the food! The staff is friendly and makes you feel right at home!
