The Nashville House

Our food was excellent! I had the fried catfish. Delicious! We also had to apple butter glazed pork chop and the bacon burger. All excellent! The fried biscuits with apple butter were the absolute bomb! Our server was amazing. The atmosphere cozy and authentic. Highly recommend!

I had been told that the chicken and the fried biscuits were beyond good, so that is what I ordered. And they were everything I was promised. An absolute taste of Heaven. I'd post a picture, but there wasn't anything left to photograph. The waitress was prompt, cheerful and accurate. The seats were comfortable and the decor welcoming. This place is a jewel and I will go back again.

We had had BLTs with fries and soft drinks. Sandwiches were a little messy to eat but delicious as were the fries. Drinks were cold and crisp. Waiter was friendly and very helpful. We loved the atmosphere outside.

Husband and I had dinner here tonight, Aug. 15th and it was absolutely delicious! We ate outdoors, really enjoyed it, thankful it was mostly shaded. The salmon was cooked perfectly, I enjoyed the rice much more than I expected - very flavorful. Whoever was playing music there live was doing a phenomenal job!!! (Wish we caught their name!) Husband loved the apple butter and our server was very nice. Indoors they have items for sale from different vendors/people, everything seemed quality and handmade. We will be coming back soon :)

The only thing that made this place exceptional was a server named Emma. She was fantastic with recommendations and a great personality. The fried green tomatoes were good and I enjoyed them. However, that was it. I’ve been here several times in the past but this is sadly my last. Something has changed in the past five months or so. The two piece chicken for $15 was not good. Meaning the breast tasted good but little meat. The “tiny” wing on my plate was laughable and no meat, just batter. I actually thought it was a joke. Probably a $10 meal at best. See attached picture. Also, no more complementary biscuits and apple butter. My opinion, this place is may be struggling to stay afloat with food prices and staffing. Who knows what has happened.
