We visited today and had a very pleasant experience. It’s a small, bright, and cozy Filipino restaurant with a calm, family-friendly atmosphere. When we arrived, it was quiet, we ordered right away, and the food came quickly — no waiting at all. The service was lovely; our server was very kind and attentive. The tables were clean, which I really appreciate. The noodle dish was average but totally fair for the price — good value for money. I didn’t personally enjoy the sake, but that’s a very personal preference. The best dish at our table was definitely the steak — flavorful and delicious, and something I’d happily order again. My daughter didn’t love her chicken rice, but I tasted it and thought it was quite good. Overall, we paid around $88 for three people, left full and satisfied, an
Incredible Food & Flavor at Narra Tree Filipino Cuisine! Our meal at Narra Tree was nothing short of outstanding! We started with pork lumpia, and right away we knew we were in for a treat — perfectly crispy, savory, and full of flavor. The lechon kawali (fried pork) and liempo (grilled pork) were cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. And the bistek Tagalog was rich and delicious, with that classic tangy, savory flavor that kept us coming back for more. Every dish was bursting with authentic Filipino taste and made with care. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive and friendly. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots — I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu! Highly recommended!
When we walked into the restaurant the aroma of the food brought a deep sense of comfort and joy. We got the Kare Kare with Crispy Pork Belly, Shrimp Sinigang, and the Bulalo. The two soups were bursting with flavor while feeling very fresh. The crispy pork belly was crispy and delicious with a variety of vegetables that go with the peanut sauce. All the dishes looked beautifully presented, was fresh, and had depths of flavor. The servers were very polite, kind and helpful. Every time I said "thank you" they actually said "you're welcome". They interacted and responded with friendliness and it looks like they actually wanted to work there and took pride in providing care and help to their customers. A restaurant who wants their servers to provide good service and hospitality should send
Never had Filipino food beyond veggie lumpia from friends and The Narra Tree was a phenomenal experience to celebrate my birthday. The narra special lumpia were delicious-fed my soul!!! The soup was very light and savory. Happily surprised by the salmon quality and VERY large portion. The Halo Halo was a fun and tasty treat, perfect on a warm day! The cake slice-WOW-light, fluffy, perfect amount of sweetness! What a treat. Clean. Wonderful customer service. Wish I had more time to try more of their menu! HIGHLY recommend this amazing small business!
I had dinner here to wrap up my travel time in Savannah and ate their ox tail kare kare, a savory peanut-based stew with veggies and bagoong (shrimp paste). I loved the taste so much that I ate the entire serving—it had me thinking of my mom’s cooking and life and I honestly almost cried in there lol. I enjoyed my meal with a San Miguel beer and would’ve loved desert if I had eaten only half of my meal and taken the rest of the kare kare to go. I also ordered a bowl of sour soup with my meal, which was delicious too but ambitious—I took that to go. Hazel, who took my order, was very friendly and made sure I felt welcomed. I enjoyed conversing with her and another regular during my evening there. I can’t wait to visit this place next time I’m in town, hopefully on a night where they have ka
