The Medalist Restaurant

This is a really nice place to have a banquet.

A hidden gem if your commute take you between Lansing/Marshall/Battle Creek (and if you are not for Cornwell’s Turkeyville. Great views to the manicured grounds of the medalist golf course, a one page menu covering all dietary preferences and a full bar. Pasta, meatballs, and other main dishes were right priced, right amount and served with a smile. Lisa our server was outstanding and effectively managed all the tables and closing for a Monday night. Busier in heavier golfing days I’d still recommend a try.

An incredible treat after a great 18 holes of golf, along with friends.

Lots of too complicated dishes. I got the Michigan chicken. It was a fried breast piece covered in a thick, brown gravy that had cherries in it. Very strange. The burritos looked good. But, they were trying too hard to be chic or different.

First time there beautiful setting. We ate outside no bugs and great view of some of the golf course. Friendly efficient staff. Food was great! Can't wait to go back.
