The Maxfield Inn

Excellent three days at the Maxfield. Beautiful old house in a small friendly town. We really enjoyed hearing Wayne’s stories about the inn’s restoration and town history. He was more than generous with his time and knowledge and it was a genuine pleasure to get to know him. As many people have noted, restoring this historic building seems to be a labor of love for him. We left with a new appreciation for the town of Naples. A really unique and wonderful visit. We had some lovely hikes and good meals, too.

What a fascinating home. The owners were very hospitable. They were gracious with their time and consideration of our traveling needs. We enjoyed our comfy stay. The home is a must see! We only wish we had had more time to explore!

Had a marvelous stay in this authentically restored house, right on Main St. Naples. Modern bathrooms and upscale bedding mixed with restored antiques in unique bedrooms. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. Continental breakfast with good coffee, doughnuts, muffins, breads, fruit, etc was more than adequate. Located within easy walking distance from restaurants.

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Maxfield and Wayne as our host! My husband and I stayed here for a wedding and the inn was such highlight of the trip. Wayne was incredibly helpful, responsive, and passionate about the inn and the history of the home. He took the time to walk us through the rooms and explain the history of it all, which was so special. Such an incredible preservation of history in a wonderful, walkable neighborhood. We will absolutely be back for another stay!

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at the Maxfield Inn. Wayne was very friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, he greeted us and gave us a tour and history of the inn. We asked him about Uber in Naples, and he let us know it’s not really active in the area. He provided us contact information for a local resident whom you can arrange rides with (she was also very friendly and helpful!) The Inn was clean and quiet. We would definitely recommend it and will be staying here again.
