The Market at Meadowbrook

Team England is in for a treat! We've been to this coffee shop multiple times and we every time leave impressed. The coffee, treats, everything tastes delicious. We ended up with the Apricot Ginger scone and a Chocolate Ganache cake and mmhmmmm. Reminded me of why I run 😉 It was raining so we didn't sit outside or take pictures but this "cafe" or "bakery" is always busy...and rightfully so. In summary, I recommend you try this spot.... especially when Team England is around 😉

Usually have a great experience here. However, Emma ruined that for us on Sunday, February 15th and we will never return. FYI, “manager” Emma - this is what your espresso beans bag looks like.

Soothing tunes and ample array of curious and functional home items were a sweet surprise in this well designed coffee and spirits establishment. Genuine kindness of the counter and wait staff. My wrap sandwich was delightful. Will pass by this place on repeat.

A year or two ago this was genuinely one of the best spots for coffee, pastries, and lunch in the entire greater Kansas City area. Today, it is the most unnecessarily chaotic and stress-inducing establishment I’ve ever visited. Recently, they heavily rearranged the interior layout, and it is now frequently overcrowded to an uncomfortable degree. The line seems to start in a different place everyday. Sometimes the front door works, but at other times it is locked because the entry is used for seating. In the afternoons and evenings, there are essentially “hosts” who stand at the line and ask you if you’re dining in or taking something to go. I understand they want to manage their flow of customers efficiently, but it just adds to the chaos and confusion. They often look like customers, it’

The cutest coffee shop and market located next to a park with a paved trail found: Market at Meadowbrook. This is the perfect spot to go for a morning coffee, delish pastries, fresh sandwiches, and tasty grab & go items. Did I mention the adorable patio seating!? The patio and the paved trail next to this coffee shop is a great way to spend a weekend morning. We went to the Market at Meadowbrook on a weekend morning and enjoyed some coffee, a pastry, and a focaccia, prosciutto, and arugula special. Make sure to check out the market at Meadowbrook asap!
