The Mad Platter Cafe

The Mad Platter is a cool little restaurant! It has a very extensive menu for its size! My daughter and I split a bacon cheese burger with tots. The size and thickness of the burger was impressive! The presentation of the burger was above par! Taste was amazing! The little one removed the lettuce and pickles and went to town on the burger. The tots had a nice crispyness to them. The guy working when I was there was super friendly, patient, and accommodating to my littles special requests. Definitely recommend Mad Platter!

Recently I got a deluxe breakfast sandwich, and it was the ideal combination of bacon grease, fresh veggies, and a perfectly cooked fried egg. I am usually too excited to eat my food and forget to take a picture. The lunch wraps and sandwiches I’ve gotten previously are also very delicious.

Best sandwich place in the area. I haven't had a better sandwich south of Portland. It's a little hard to find, buried down in the basement of the courthouse but man the meat was fresh and the food was delicious. Best Reuben I've had! Not drenched in dressing like other places, just the right amount of everything. Heck when I went down there I saw the cook dressing the meat so you know it's fresh. How this place has been hiding in that little basement I don't know but whoever works at that courthouse is lucky. Can't recommend enough.

Stopped in after reading all the great reviews. The rumors are true, Mad Platter is very good. Awesome hole in the wall vibe. My son had a chicken-ka-bob sub, it was huge. He said it was the best tasting sub he ever had. I had the Cuban sandwich it was damn good and very filling. The quality of the food is incredible. Quality and Quanity, you will get both. Nate knows his way around a grill. I'll be back.
