The Lucca Grill

I’ve lived in the area for 3 years and finally stopped here for dinner. We did not have a reservation, but we were able to quickly get a table. We ordered some cheese garlic bread and meat ravioli as appetizers - both were very good. The garlic bread had a crispy crust with a soft fluffy center with the perfect amount of flavor. The meat ravioli was well breaded with well seasoned meat inside. Both come with marinara dipping sauce. We built our own thin pizza with sausage and pepperoni - OH my GOSH! It was crispy and had a delicious combination of flavors. I will definitely be coming back. And to add the cherry on top the tiramisu was cold, creamy and rich. We love this place! Atmosphere is iconic Italian restaurant vibes. Always hopping with great energy. Service is consistently amazing and the food is incredibly delicious.

I couldn't find something wrong with this place if I tried. The food is incredible, you start smelling it as you walk up the street. Get anything, it will be good. The service is friendly and efficient. And the servers work the room like players on a basketball court! The decor is amazing. Cool stuff everywhere. Make a reservation, even on a week night!

Great atmosphere and feels like a small town place. The buttered garlic shrimp had the noddles overcooked and flavors were just on The chicken Parm was unique and good. Nothing crazy but good.

Lucca Grill in downtown Bloomington is an old-school Italian restaurant that has a lot of character. And their food is terrific. Lucca has great pizza and they offer classic pasta dishes and sandwiches as well. Call ahead for a reservation. There is seating on the ground floor, and seating upstairs. The first floor is where the bar is located and where pizzas are being made. It's busier than the upstairs, where there are seating options for larger groups. We love Lucca Grill.
