Customer Reviews
Amazing! The Lounge is hidden gem in a random strip mall in sorrento valley under the 5 highway. Such an Intimate and cozy space. All farm to table ingredients sourced from their partnering farms in the San Diego county + they know their carbs (like really well). So far Wednesday + Thursdays are pizza nights and Fridays + Saturdays are mezze nights. Pictured—the mezze, the red snapper, happy egg, + welcome plate of house olives. Run by a small team that makes you feel at home and slow down to enjoy some thoughtful dishes. Perfect for a date night or a private party!
sometimes people think small parking lot in an obscure location is a bug, but here it's definitely a feature. well designed, delicious mediterranean, feels like your living room, fluffy pitas, flavor packed dips, best hidden med gem in SD ?
The Lounge is like a portal into another dimension hidden in plain sight in Sorrento Valley. The mezze is worthy of comparison with some of the best fancy spots around and the pizza is NY worthy, which is saying a lot in SD.
Put The Lounge at LuckyBolt at the top of your list for new places to go. You are welcomed into a charming atmosphere and greeted by happy staff. Be prepared to be wowed by both menus. The pizza is unrivaled- seriously! I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my life and The Lounge’s pizza tops my list of Best Pizza ever. If you like mushrooms , their mushroom w black olive and pepperoni is my go to. Add a glass of red wine from their curated wine list and you’re golden. The Mezza menu ! The locally sourced ingredients are meticulously crafted creating a deeply satisfying experience. The Lounge experience excited all my senses and I can’t wait to go back.
I went to trivia night and had the BEST TIME. The pizza is made with sourdough and is long fermented and boy can you tell it’s made with love. My waitress Robi was the cutest sweetest and most attentive. Kris the owner came out after service and joined in on the trivia! It was overall a great vibe and I won second place which means I’ll be back for redemption. Also the wine selection was so yum. I recommend making a reservation because it fills up!
