The Lokal Yukon

First time trying this restaurant and the food is phenomenal! Apparently everyone else thinks so as well. I've never seen a restaurant so busy, even accounting for the fact that we went on a weekend. Despite how busy it was, the speed of service was prompt. I got the fried catfish and my mother got the chicken fried steak. Everything was very good, but the sweet potato fries and carrots were the standouts! Probably the best I've had in close to a decade. Prices seemed reasonable for the portion size, around $20 each for the entrees (which should give you leftovers), plus an extra $10 each for dessert, if you decide you want the largest slice of cake you've ever seen.

We ordered the sampler appetizer and it was delicious!!! I got the chefs special, ham and grilled cheese with tomato bisque and an extra side which I got grilled zucchini and squash, my husband got the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese, and my son got chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were huge, my husband's chicken fried chicken was huge and delicious. All of it was delicious. I also ordered a piece of their butterfinger cheesecake, so good. No complaints. Nice atmosphere. Our server Brooklyn D was wonderful, very on top of it, and it was a busy night. I highly recommend!!!

1st time there today. We were so impressed! The food was outstanding, draft beer cold, good cocktails. Our server has been working there for 3 yrs & it showed. So informative of the food for recommendations and knew everything about all the different draft beer!

Great service our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere and decor are very good. Very clean place. The service was timely. The food was very good. I would definitely recommend people to give this place a try as I believe you won't be disappointed.

We ate at a new restaurant today our first time coming and it was DELICIOUS 🤤 REAL BISON BEEF 🥩 WE HAD THE OKIE BURGERS, GRILL CLUB , The Sampler with all these delicious sides AND EVERYTHING WAS HUGE AND WE GET TO KEEP THE CUPS AS SOUVENIRS OH WE DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK AND IT’S NOT TO FAR FROM HOME.
