The Local

We had a fantastic evening at The Local. It was packed with people all night so glad we had a reservation. Although, a walk in couple did get sat before us at our reservation time and we had to ask hostess again if we would get a table and then got sat. Bartender knew his stuff and was so fun to chat with. Had a super nice waitress named Jennifer and owner was on the floor all night making sure people had the best time. The venison burger was great (I order medium well and there was still more pink then I’d prefer so just be sure to order well or extra well done if you want no pink). Shrimp scampi was phenomenal! Heard great things from friends on their way out about the Mediterranean pasta and pork belly appetizer. Super affordable mocktails and cocktails. Best old manhattan around. Also

We had a great experience on Tuesday night at The Local. Kyle and his team took great care of us and the food was excellent. The Gochujang Pork Belly and Pork Belly Bowl appetizers are outstanding. Some of the best I've ever had. The Spicy Bolognese Pasta had just a little spice and excellent flavor. Save room for the S'more balls for desert.

Kyle and crew created a very carefully crafted dining experience for exactly what Watertown needed! You can tell that everything was meticulously chosen from the silverware to the drink menu, nothing was haphazardly thrown together without any thought. The service was locked in, the food was prepared perfectly, and the environment was cozy and relaxed. The appetizer of gojuchang pork belly had some flavortown qualities. 🤌 I had the New York strip steak that was of very high quality, and my wife had the halibut which had some superb flavors. Way to gang! 🤜🤛

This place is incredible. Pork belly was one of the best apps I've ever had. Burger of the week was exceptional, even the fries were fantastic. Smores bites for dessert were unbelievable as well. This place is a destination in its own right for how great the food is. Can't recommend it enough.

The Local catered our family Christmas gathering in Watertown. It was a seamless operation from planning all the way through to delivery. The food was prepared perfectly and delivered hot and on time! The entire meal was absolutely delicious and working with Kyle was always a positive experience, even when at first we weren't sure what we wanted! Kyle guided us expertly and was never pushy. We can't wait to visit the restaurant in town very soon!
