The Local Tavern

We were so excited to try this place because all of the positive feedback we kept hearing from others and the reviews we seen online. When we arrived it was slow. We were greeted and told we can sit anywhere. We sat at a table that was empty but it was dirty. There were leftover food crumbs left over and little pieces of trash. I had to use multiple napkins to wipe the table off myself. Our waitress was great and very kind. We ordered the onion ring tower and mozzarella sticks. They were both delicious BUT we were barely given any ranch and honey mustard. Im not kidding when I say the little containers were filled about 1/4 of the way which was no way enough for the size of the appetizers. The condiments were good but they act like their condiments are made out of gold or something. I see

If I could leave zero star for the food I would. The only thing good was the server who took my order. Went for the first time tonight and let me say the food was HORRIBLE. The fries were burnt. Wings half cooked and soggy. Wasted $30 on food couldn’t even eat. Got there at 850 and didn’t get the food until an hour later. My fault for not looking at the food before leaving as I wouldn’t have accepted it and got my money back.

First time my husband and I have been and will be back! Food was amazing, service was amazing, and atmosphere here is not one you really find anywhere else local. We got the pretzels app, hubs got wings and I got the tavern patty melt 10000/10 on all the food. And our waitress Lisa was great!

My husband and I wanted to try a new place so we came to The Local Tavern. I had heard great things. If only our experience had been as good. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly, though I wish our waiter had understood our requests and been on top of things more. We ordered fried pickles and jalapeño slices. I do appreciate that they were battered in house and were flavorful. The jalapeños were fresh, which was good and not the norm. However, they were so greasy we had to soak up each piece with multiple napkins before eating. It was a lot. It seemed like they didn't let any of it drip enough out of the fryer. The hamburger sliders were good, but the chicken sliders were an absolute joke. Nothing fresh about them and they looked like cafeteria Sysco meat. I asked for my pim

My family and I had a great time tonight. Rita was warm and always checking on us. My kids adored her and played with board games while food was prepared. The burgers and fries were very very good. The fried pickles were uniquely battered and the taste was great, but a tiny too greasy for us. Beer was cold and cheap - just how we like it. We’ll definitely be back.
