The Local Grind

We stopped at The Local Grind during our road trip and absolutely loved it! The coffee was spot on, the bagel with cream cheese was fresh and tasty, and everything was served with a genuine smile. The little building itself is incredibly charming—rustic, cozy, and full of character. A perfect local gem that made our morning drive even better. Highly recommended!

What a cool little tucked away gem. Whether you are looking for that fresh brewed rich bean coffee or a refreshing energized smoothie. The Local Grind also has fresh baked goodies and a good Ole fashion Bagel and Cream cheese. It is situated to be a drive through business, but if you prefer to just take a break like I did, then I suggest parking and taking advantage of the picnic table on the grass area (spring/summer) this location has some beautiful views of the mountain ranges both east and west of Star Valley. Awesome young ladies who are warm and welcoming, ready to serve you. The owner is a young charismatic go getting female entrepreneur who has a great passion for the outdoors and her community. Awesome to be able to grab a chai latte on the way to work at 6 am in the morning! I customized the order with pumpkin spice and it was delicious! The service was fast and friendly. It’s a better option than any local gas station and supports small business. What a great addition to our community! Definitely stop in here when you’re in need of a pick me up. The menu also has so many options even for non coffee drinkers. Give it a try.

Local Grind is hands-down my favorite coffee spot whenever I'm back in the valley! The owner’s warmth and genuine care make every visit special. She always greets you with a smile and makes you feel appreciated. Plus, the coffee and treats are incredible. It’s the perfect place to get your coffee fix with a personal touch. What another reviewer said was true. Hours not accurate. When people are traveling through and looking for a place to stop in areas where there’s not many other options, I find it to be inconsiderate that hours are not updated. By that time we have bypassed other locations that actually are open. It’s a simple click of a button to let people know you closed versus your hours stating that you are open.
