The Local and Catering

I love The Local! Great food and staff, have eaten there several times and never been disappointed. Also, today I placed an order for delivery and it turns out the delivery driver was not available for delivery during the day. I was not able to pick it up, so I said that we could just cancel the order. Instead, the owner of the restaurant delivered it for me, which I thought was really kind!

Very friendly, great service. Great little "local" spot atmosphere. Their cheese ball's are killer. Everything was delicious! Cheese ball's, battered mushroom's, onion ring's, wing's for the sample platter app. Jumbo fried shrimp/coctail sauce and battered cod. 🤤. He had the Italian sub. Looked amazing.

The food was very good and the service was excellent! I did not give a five-star review because there were two tables, about 10 ft apart, where the patrons knew each other and proceeded to have an extraordinarily loud conversation that could be heard by the entire restaurant, which made it difficult for me to hear the people at my own table.

Chips served with food extremely stale. Bathrooms out of order. Waitress very rude. Not concerned when I told her chips were stale. I do not recommend this place. Spent $80 on terrible food. Go to the bowling alley next door for a better experience.

Nothing spectacular about this place. Just a basic menu, but the food was great. They had at least 5 different "homemade"soups, who does that?
