The Lilypad Cafe

From the moment we walked in the waiting room, the staff loved on our family. When we ordered our food, the thing I really wanted wasn’t on the menu. The ingredients, however, were in the Big Daddy. So I asked the waitress Morgan if they could mix them in a special way for us so we could have the meal we were excited about. She went to the cook Wyatt who sent her back out to verify a few things and he said he liked making new things for people. When our food came out Wyatt delivered it himself to make sure it was right and it was perfect. His faced was filled with joy of a job well done. Joey says it was the best skillet ever. I’m not posting this because this is a new experience at the Lily Pad because it’s not. They are always amazing, but excellence deserves recognition. And our trip to

Small town diner. Welcomed with a smile and felt right at home. The food was fantastic. I had an order of French toast, custardy, perfect hint of vanilla and cooked just how it should be. The burger was wonderful, over medium egg, bacon and the fixings. My wife got the chicken wrap and spoke very highly of it.

Excellent family restaurant! Great food, prices and service! Carl Junction is a small town just NW of Joplin. Its a diamond in the rough and something you cant go without. If you are ever in the area, want to take a drive or craving a great breakfast or burger, then this is where you need to go!!

Just finished breakfast at the Lilly pad and loved it! Friendliest serves, fast and very clean inside. Had the deluxe omelette. Great food.
