I ordered delivery and was extremely disappointed with the quality and care of this meal. The packaging was poorly secured, causing the entire order to leak through the bag and create a mess before I even opened it. Upon inspection, I found a long strand of hair in the cabbage, which is not only unappetizing but also a serious food safety concern. The oxtails were excessively salty, to the point where they were nearly inedible. As someone who works in the food service industry, I understand the challenges of high-volume preparation, but this was a careless and unacceptable presentation of what should be a flavorful and comforting dish. I genuinely want to give this restaurant 5 stars. I love the food but the Mac and cheese is wayyy too inconsistent. One day it creamy, cheesy and delicious. Another time it's dry and tastes like soap. There needs to be one recipe used for the Mac and cheese always. The dry one is not good at all. When it's creamy it's the best. I hope this review is helpful. I tend to like the other menu options when I visit every once in a while

Ordered a large oxtail and literally got less on the plate than the guy ahead of me qith a MEDIUM. My plate is 90 percent rice and the beef patties taste like they are right out of a box. Used to love coming here. Never again. Highly recommend against coming here for decent sized plates. Especially with what they charge.

Great food, ordered to go… oxtails are the best!! Group of 7 of us and we were all happy with our food. One of the workers ( thinnest one) could be friendlier… everyone else was nice.

My first thoughts when coming inside was wow this food smells good. I ordered the oxtails, rice & beans, Mac & cheese & plantains. Let’s start by saying this place did not have a welcoming atmosphere. The Mac & cheese was nasty no flavor barely any cheese it was just noodles, I’ve could have gotten better Mac @ Popeyes. The rice & beans not seasoned it was pretty bland. Only reason why I’m giving them 3 stars is the oxtails were decent & so was the plantains but how can you mess those up??? - this was my first impression of them.
