The Laughing Owl Restaurant

Stopped by with friends to enjoy a meal and we were not disappointed! Unfortunately, it was a busy evening and the service was delayed initially, but once the waitress arrived, she was lovely! The food took almost an hour but once it arrived it was hot and delicious! We look forward to visiting again in the future.

This was a quick "get it before they closed" kind of deal. We had takeout which isn't always the best way to try a new place. The restaurant is beautiful with dark wood tables and the name accenting the wood. Famous people have a place along the wall as a gorgeous motif. Very old school which I love. However, they were said to have great burgers and they do! Unfortunately, the Man got extra sauce with the General Tso’s Chicken that got punctured by the containers stacked on top of it. He didn't have enough sauce for his meal and was not pleased which means I wasn't pleased. My burger lived up to the hype but was soured due to unfortunate packing.

Was in Goldsboro for the weekend and needed a place for dinner. We decided to come here for the expansive menu. There was no wait and despite the restraint looking full we were sat immediately. The waitress was friendly and tolerated our friend who can be a lot. Food was very good and drinks were a reasonable price coming from CLT. Handled my gluten allergy flawlessly! Would recommend to those in the area.

We held our 50th High School Reunion in their Banquet Room Saturday 9/27/25. Our service was great! Jose 1 and Jeff took excellent care in ordering our food and getting the orders out to us quickly! Also the food was good too! We had over 40 people attend! The Banquet room was easy to decorate! Our class had a wonderful reunion and a great experience at Laughing 🦉 Owl!

Hands down the best Asian food I’ve ever had in North Carolina: authentic, fresh and delicious! Stopped in for a quick lunch on a whim and will definitely be back. The food is so flavorful! The location is convenient and has a great vibe inside and out. The staff are courteous and polite and the restaurant is very clean and inviting. Entrance, tables and restrooms definitely ADA friendly. If you’re looking for classic and authentic asian entrees this is as good as it gets! If they offered Dim Sum I’d die and go to heaven.
