The Lakehouse

We stopped in for lunch at The Lakehouse and wow—what a fantastic experience! We started with the sampler appetizer (fried mushrooms, onion rings, and cheese sticks). Every bite was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, so we took half to go because there was no way we were leaving a bite behind. For the main course, I ordered the baked catfish with rice, coleslaw, and beans. The fish was baked perfectly—tender, flaky, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Such a perfect combination! Another great place to experience awesome seafood flavor. Staff is friendly and attentive. You will find plenty of seating space, not too crowded. Highly recommended.

Jose provided excellent service and suggestions. The bread pudding is an absolute must. The Catfish plates were seasoned well crispy outside flakey and moist inside. Loved the atmosphere and view.

Best Fried Catfish around! Friendly server & prices are very comparable to surrounding area. Homemade sides are delicious. Family atmosphere & right on the River! We will be back...worth the drive from SA.
