The Lakehouse Grille

I went with 6 other friends and just had a wonderful time! Our server CC was great to talk to and made sure everyone had a good time. I got the seasonal snowball marg, (magnificent) and a shrimp+scallop pasta which had house-made sauce (delicious). The atmosphere was perfect for a nice restaurant by the lake. Highly recommend!!!!

Made reservations for a large group of 50+, a team of high school hockey players and their parents on a Saturday two weeks before Christmas. Mark, the owner, and I created a limited menu to keep things moving out of the kitchen in a timely fashion and keep things running smoothly. I sent him our logo and he printed out special menus for us that really created a special touch that our party appreciated. The service was great, handled the separate checks like pros, the drink menu creative and festive, the place was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the food was good and even with the limited menu there were plenty of options for everyone. We’ll definitely be back next year. It was a great experience!

Always love the Hawaiian Burger subbed with chicken. Salads and fries are great. Great environment, seating, and outdoor patio. Peggy is always great! Peggy is a true veteran server that always goes above and beyond! Kelly was a great host and even brought my food out. Unfortunately, as a single on the patio it’s easy to attend to other needs and forget the single. Blonde server maybe also named Kelly (said on bill) took a while to come out once seated. She was nice but not attentive or intentional and did not offer desserts before handing me the bill… Pet peeve if not asked for desserts before the bill unless business is too busy. Staff was very distant on overall service for having one other table at 3:00. I’m not mad…just offering feedback on service. Update: 30 min later driving by

We drove down from Michigan with some friends. I've always loved the Rubens there, so I've always talked it up, everything was amazing there except the Reuben, hardly any sauerkraut or dressing on the sandwich,. The top of the sandwich was hard the bottom of soggy there was about half the meat that is normally on it. Don't know if I will drive back down there for the Reuben again. Drinks where pretty good, the bloody marry was not the best, tasted like light tomato juice and celery water, no spice to it at all, and almost all ice.

I was delayed meeting my family in Culver for the weekend, so I wasn’t sure I was going to make our dinner plans. Donna was incredibly accommodating. She was so kind and made sure I got some food and drinks before she closed us out for the night, even though it was late. The Lakehouse Grille served me one of the best salads I’ve ever had. I ordered the Strawberry Bibb with Blackened Salmon. The seasoning was full of flavor but not overwhelming. We enjoyed the patio while finishing our drinks.
