The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Colorado Mills

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed dinner. The food was outstanding. The beef carpaccio was incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced with arugula, shaved parmesan, and pickled onions. The toasted bread on the side was crisp and warm a great combination. The tuna and avocado stack was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality ingredients and presentation. Drinks were also excellent and well-prepared. But what truly made the evening special was our server, Yabi. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. We went for restaurant week. We had been there last year and really enjoyed it. Not so much this year. The menu was similar but the quality and portion of some things were very disappointing. My husband got the sea bass as he did last year. The portion was half the size, around 5 ounces maybe. The ceaser salad dressing was really overpowering and heavy. I had the strip steak. It was a good size portion and cooked as i ordered it. But it was not as good as what i have gotten at Texas Roadhouse I was told the wedge salad was wonderful! The cheesecake was out of a box. The top and back edge had the thick cheese that you get when it is frozen or sits exposed to the air. The raspberry topping wasn't fresh either. It was very disappointing considering what we paid.

My wife and I visited Keg Steakhouse last night for a special date night, and we were really looking forward to it. We ended up spending about $125 per person, and while the atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly, the food really didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered a 12-ounce New York strip, asked for it medium, and it came out well-done, which was a real letdown. On top of that, no one checked in on how the steak was, so we didn’t get a chance to have it corrected. The appetizers were pretty mediocre as well, and the drinks, which were around $15 each, didn’t really stand out. Honestly, for the price, you’d be better off cooking at home where you can get the flavor and the doneness just right. I’m pretty surprised that a steakhouse at this level had trouble getting these b

I ordered the steak and lobster. The steak was cooked correctly but didn't have much flavor. Some A1 made it better. The lobster was delicious, but for some reason the melted butter was super salty. The vegetables were very good. The bread was fresh and still hot. My waitress was very attentive and passed by often to see if I needed anything.

Ok tonight was crazy. But Yabee was incredible. So kind, sweet and understand! Yabee went above ab beyond being so very accommodating an amazing. Her enthusiasm and kind heart truly made a bad expirance a better one. Id come back to just enjoy Yabees good nature and table side adittude!
