Lured in by social media and kids eat free on the weekends… definitely don’t agree with the 4.5 star rating they have. When we first got there the line was pretty long but moved quickly. When we asked about some combos we saw on one of the menus on the website/another location, we were told that was only online… so you can apparently get deals by ordering online that you can’t get in store.. if true that’s fairly odd tbh. We ordered our food and when we went to each of the 3 tables that were open they were all covered with food, sauce, and trash under the seats/tables. It’s a busy Saturday so I figured someone would get it cleaned up shortly, but that never happened. An employee saw me cleaning one of the tables and came and wiped it down but the rag was so wet I had to use 5 paper towe

I loved my shawarma, it was super delicious! I think the kids' bowls could be improved; they had too much rice, and they could offer more options to accompany the protein on the kids' menu instead of just potatoes and a leafy salad with lots of onions. For example, hummus and pita bread. Also, they didn't look as nice as the ones in the picture. The falafe is 100/100; its texture and flavor are truly delicious. The drinks aren't very appealing either; they're all from a machine, and there was only one type of tea (classic) —I didn't see any Mediterranean tea options. The garlic yogurt dressing is delicious and recommended for those who don't like spicy food. The place is clean, and the staff who served us were friendly. Tried The Kebab Shop and appreciated how balanced and clean the food felt. The wraps were not greasy or heavy, everything tasted fresh, properly cooked. Good quality ingredients, simple flavors done right, excellent sauces (the cilantro jalapeño is fresh, not overpowering), and generous portions without feeling fried or processed. Calm, clean place and efficient service. Solid, honest food I would confidently return to. Liz at the register was very nice and friendly.

We stopped by The Kabob Shop today to see if they were open and found out they officially open tomorrow — but we were lucky enough to meet the manager, Juan, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though they weren’t open yet, he generously let us taste the food ahead of opening day! We tried the chicken and lamb shawarma wraps, and wow… absolutely delicious. The wraps were perfectly toasted, packed with flavorful, juicy meat, fresh veggies, and the sauces were amazing. You can truly taste the quality and freshness in every bite. The space is clean, modern, and inviting — perfect for a quick lunch or casual dinner. If this was just a preview, we can’t wait to come back once they officially open. Highly recommend checking them out — this place is going to be a hit! 👏🔥

We recently tried The Kabab Shop that just opened in McKinney. We ordered two build-your-own wraps. The chicken kabab and the rice had a really nice saffron flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and their jalapeño cilantro sauce was especially delicious. We also enjoyed the hospitality. It’s a little on the pricier side, but that may be because they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. Overall a great experience.
