The Kangaroo

Went here for the first time on Halloween night. The atmosphere was great and we had a blast! It was super busy so the bar service took a bit, to be expected, but the security in the back took his job too serious! Didn't stop us from having fun though. Especially when you dont have to pay for drinks all night 😉

We sat out back and had the deviled eggs, buffalo mac & cheese cigars. Food and bartender were amazing!!! Outside could use a little more cozy vibes.

Definitely won’t be coming back to the kangaroo again. I came and made a friend and the guy behind the bar completely ignored me. I sat there for about 10 to 15 minutes and it was only one couple in there that he was talking to and did not acknowledge me for 15 minutes when I finally said something he got angry and told me that he was talking. Lol I couldn’t believe what he had told me so me and my friend left and went to a different bar because they were so rude in there. Do not recommend anyone going here at all

Went for the first time this weekend. Was a pretty cool place but crawling with huge bouncers. Typically not a big deal but felt like they were preparing for hell to break loose. It must become a rougher place as the night progresses but it was a cool bar while we were there at 10pm.

I visited this bar during a Halloween bar crawl, and while the atmosphere was lively and full of energy, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. The place was packed, so I understand that service can get slower during events — but even though we were seated right at the bar, it still took a while to be noticed. The event page had mentioned special drink prices, which we were looking forward to. However, we had to ask about them, and the staff told us there were no specials available. I’m not sure if that miscommunication was on the event organizers or the bar itself, but it definitely caused some disappointment.
