Once you enter the Burley door that looks like it’s close or the entrance to a dungeon you’ll see an immaculate place of Oakwood that looks like it’s from out of a resort. The atmosphere is light and exciting. Quiet but enticing the food quality peak. outstanding service not once but twice The drinks are superb to say the lease. They had any drink I could want I sware no bot stuff. Almost thought it was dream like Outstanding bro I.
We stopped by while visiting from out of town and spent $100 expecting a good seafood boil. Let me tell you right now: Atlanta does it way better. The Cajun sauce was amazing rich, flavorful, spicy, buttery. It carried the whole meal on its back. The broccoli and potatoes slapped, and the hushpuppies were decent. That’s where the compliments stop. The crawfish? Bland. No seasoning inside at all. The shrimp? Not cleaned. Poop lines still in there like it was a biology class assignment. And the shrimp was overcooked.. 🙃 The mussels were so tiny, I had to laugh. And to top it off, we didn’t even get the amount of shrimp we paid for. Overall, the sauce ate… but the rest of the meal? Definitely left us disappointed. Come for the sauce, but don’t expect ATL-level quality or portion sizes.
Sea food boil was delicious! Worth every penny. Got Cajun and garlic butter mix and medium heat. Did not disappoint! I shared it with a friend. I believe I got #12 the Captain catch, 1 lb of crab, and shrimp with two corns, eggs and potatoes. Fried Calamari was good as well!
I had the crab leg broil with Lobster. The food was reasonably seasoned, be sure to shake the bag, all of the seasoning is at the bottom. The shrimp was especially delicious. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday evening but don’t let that run you away lol.
Great service but the food is bit too salty. Chef went heavy with the lemon paper seasoning… Otherwise, pretty good food!
