The memories that we all have from this past weekend will stay with us for the rest of our lives. Your beautiful guest house enabled so many small interactions between family members and created an environment that was conducive for spontaneous interactions. The breakfast room was filled with your yummy food and our happy faces and laughter each morning. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to both of you for the kindness you showed to my parents, especially my mother, throughout the weekend. She cannot stop talking about you all! The patient consideration that you showed in conversation with her, is so appreciated. I am still amazed by how generous and kind Christina was to lend her the earrings for the wedding. We have had a wonderful stay at The Island Guest House on Long Beach Island. Mark and Joanne are wonderful hosts. The rooms are very nicely done with comfortable beds and accommodations. Breakfast is delicious! Joanne is a wonderful cook and hostess, making breakfasts to order and putting baked goods out in the afternoon. We have everything we need for a bike ride around town or chairs for the beach. The location is perfect for walking to anywhere we want to go. We have really enjoyed our vacation. We would love to come back and would recommend The Island Guest House to our friends and family.

This is our favorite bed and breakfast! We have been coming for annual visits here for the last 4 or 5 years. We have loved it since we discovered it! Joanne and Mark are incredible hosts and together with their team, make you feel special every time you stay. Delicious breakfasts, comfy beds, and beautiful touches throughout the guest house make this place a gem! Wonderful location close to the beach, restaurants and shopping too! My husband and I have been vacationing on LBI for almost 40 years. Mother-in-law had a house in Shipbottom so we always stayed there but due to unfortunate circumstances she no longer owns the house. We decided to give the island guest house a try and oh were we impressed! Check-in couldn’t have went any smoother. We had the cutest little room on the second floor. Breakfast was amazing! You cannot beat the location! We both were thoroughly impressed at how pet friendly the Inn is. We brought our mini Goldendoodle With us and he loved being there. |Mark, the owner, took my husband and I on a little tour of all the rooms so when we book again, we know all of our options.
