The Inn at Ragged Edge

Had a great Valentines day stay with my husband. Barb and her husband were the best hosts and the breakfast Sunday morning was AMAZING!!!!! The rooms are beautiful and the Inn is very centrally located to alot of restaurants and shops.

It is a wonderful older inn that was a large summer home in the past. I love beautiful, older places like like this and it was great to see it so well taken care of. The hostess was tremendous and prepared a delicious breakfast for the guests. I loved it there and I would return.

one of the best places I've stayed at. Wonderful history, but the home is just amazing. You truly get to experience how "the 1%" lived in the early 1900s. The location is beautiful, the house is amazing, and the overall friendliness of everyone we met, and the breakfast was wonderful and kept me full almost all day. The nature trail was an enchanting walk along a beautiful stream. I highly recommend the Inn at Ragged Edge to anyone even remotely in the area (It's about 30 minutes from Gettysburg in traffic, and quieter) to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

During midweek after a day visiting historic sites, we overnighted at The Inn at Ragged Edge, a short drive from I-81. We enjoyed a delightful stay – from Barb’s welcome through breakfast the following morning. Between the main and second floors, one has a grand view of a small stream behind the house from a stairway landing. Our spacious second-floor room included a fine view of grounds plus a separate room for the refrigerator. Perhaps the most distinctive experience was hearing the historic Steinway piano as its music wafted from the main floor to the upper floors. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Inn is absolutely stunning. The woodwork inside is fascinating and a wonderful representation of the early styles of woodworking in the 1900s Barb, the host was fantastic. Filled with history to share and warmth with Care for our well-being. We were disappointed in our room, though. There was not a single bit of art on the walls, the shower was a metal, tiny box, and a lot of the furniture was worn. The bed, however, was very comfortable. We enjoyed the grounds very much. The stream and back of the building was a pleasant place to sit and rest.
