The Inn at Montrose, Inc & The Inn Pub, LLC

Did not stay at the hotel so did not rate the rooms. My wife and I ate at the restaurant tonight for the first time and we're impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food was excellent, the service was friendly and the prices were on par with other places. We are looking forward to coming back for more

We went to Montrose to get Christmas candy from Leopold's. We casually asked if there was anywhere nearby they'd recommend to eat. The staff called "The Inn" in unison. Were they ever right! It's a little pricey (we splurged on two of the specials), my friend had salmon with mango salsa; I had chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese and dill. We both had green beans -- you may think "green beans! How boring!" No! They were excellent! My dinner partner had French onion soup; I had the taco soup. We are in Binghamton, only a half hour drive. They have an outdoor dining area and we are already planning on going again when the weather is nice. "Pricey" is a relative term. Good food in a pleasant inn. Prices are average. Other people complain but apparently dont shop often i guess to see it. Small town restaurants pay the same prices for stuff as big cities. Just because it's a small town does not mean it's cheap. We understand it. Ya gotta pay the bills or close. . Again, fair market prices here. : )

My absolute favorite place to eat in Susquehanna county because of the truffle fries. The only thing that is really depressing is they no longer have truffle fries. I have been eating here for about 4 years and it was always my go to order. I wish they would bring it back, because now I’m less inclined to eat here. Great service, great food- but they need to bring back the truffle fries 🥲

Ms.Jenn was awesome tonight made me feel comfortable and welcome with her service and smile food was really a five star meal 💙 💯
