I’m new to the area and wanted something to eat and since I wanted something different than the old pizza again. If I could give a zero for the food I would. So, I ordered the fish and chips with Cole slaw and when I got back to my workplace to eat. The food wasn’t the freshest and it looks like it had been fried way too long or put back into the fryer and over cooked. The breaded on the fish was way too much and the fries were old tasting, meanwhile the Cole slaw is just purple cabbage not a regular slaw. For $30.00 plus dollars I’d expect better tasting food.
We found this place hitting some of the antique stores between Keene and then traveling a little further north. The food was great, beers, good and we also bought one of the mini glasses they have branded with their store. Good trip, right alongside the river in the food was very good. Worth the stop by.
My friend and I stopped at this restaurant on our drive home from Vermont and it was a cute little restaurant. A bit expensive but the food was amazing and big portions and nice and fresh you could tell the food was fresh and healthy. I got the fish and chips and my friend got the cheeseburger. We were definitely happy with it.
A great little local restaurant and beer garden serving up local produce, meats, and beers. Lots of family’s were enjoying the outdoor space with their kids and dogs. I highly recommend the pickle jar filled to the brim with freshly pickled local. It was wonderful! For my entree I had the Korean grilled beef salad which was so refreshing and satisfying. It was so good I came back the next day again. I highly recommend this local gem.
A great pub with terrific food. We had the Korean salad and the chicken sandwich. Both were excellent with terrific homemade fries. We also loved our manhattans. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. Definitely will be back whenever we’re in the area. Our one suggestion for management would be adding a vestibule as the restaurant got quite chilly whenever anyone entered.
