Small spot for amazing falafel and hummus! The store is behind Anton’s cleaners. It’s a tiny store with 3 tables at the time of our visit. Super friendly service. Their falafel is the best! The hummus is a bit thick and dry for my taste, but it is also great!
Tucked away in a quiet corner, The Hummus Shop in Boston is a hidden gem you shouldn’t miss. Don’t let its small size fool you—this place delivers big on flavor. The vegan and vegetarian dishes are absolutely fantastic, with everything tasting incredibly fresh and well-prepared. The staff are warm, polite, and make you feel right at home. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Be sure to try their spicy pumpkin sauce—it’s unique, flavorful, and elevates any dish on the menu. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves wholesome, delicious food.
Falafel was delicious and service was great! All the workers were so friendly and welcoming! They gave us free samples of the falafel and it was so good we had to buy a plate of our own. One of the employees also gave us extra sauce for our falafel. Loved that I got to color at the table as well! Overall amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend and definitely will be coming back soon.
Place was really a 3.5 for me. It's israeli, a lot of vegetarian dishes on the menu. I'm Lebanese. The hummus was gritty, dry, and I would've preferred more lemon. I wasn't impressed with the falafel really either. A Togo small meal of a $20+ bowl for 3 falafel ($2 upcharge for an extra 4 inch pita and $1 upcharge for hot sauce) felt like overkill. Not really interested in going back due to the cost and the disappointing food.
This place is amazing! The food is so delicious and hands down the freshest, I had the falafel and chicken schnitzel and it was the best I’ve ever eaten! I took the family meal to go and everything else was just as good. The owner and staff were so nice and greeted me politely as I walked in and even let me sample before buying. The attention to detail is phenomenal. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone in the Boston area.
