The Hot Plate Cafe

There is this pleasant woman who prepares the food and although the food is great, I always have the burger, her name is Angeline and she's one of those people that you immediately feel warm around. Her energy and vibration is so amazing you know she's got an amazing soul. A little gift from God.

This place is a gem tucked away right off of I-95 in the Mobil gas station. If you want good southern food cooked to order, this is your spot. I came for breakfast, and got two pancakes, 2 scrambled eggs, and bacon. They were very generous with the portions, and the food was delicious. The ladies behind the counter were very nice, and the food is reasonably priced. This would be a great place to stop and eat while traveling, or just to come and enjoy if you’re in the area. I definitely plan on visiting again!

Long road trip. Searching for stops right off the highway. The cafe is part of the Mobil station. Plain Jane, straightforward burgers served fast, hot and delicious. Great value for the buck. Friendly service. Clean dining area. Perfect for us.

Inside the Florence travel plaza. With my trainer who frequents this location. Staff is always so sweet here. I had the lunch social today. My lunch special was your choice of meat, I chose Pork chop (your choice grilled or fried) With 3 sides of your choice & drink. When I say I was pleased. I’m a southern girl so of course I washed it down with my cool ice tea. ( picture don’t do it justice) lunch was good!

Got a breakfast sandwich and potatoes, ran me about $9 bucks or so . Had them put it all on a sandwich as they didn't have any wraps . Was tasty and well seasoned. It's a nice a little plus , maybe a tad pricey for some people compared to a commercial truck stop sandwich but if you rather have it cooked fresh rather then a pre made on id say make a stop by.
