The Hobnob Cafe

Came in while traveling, was very disappointed in the price versus the amount of food you get. Ordered the smothered hamburger steak and lemon pepper chicken. The salad is basically just lettuce and cheese. The hamburger steak was okay, we also ordered the lemon pepper chicken which was very over done and basically a very thin chicken strip. You can see in the photos . Definitely not worth the $40 we paid for the meal. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning.

We went for breakfast today. The hash browns were really good, the fried potatoes were nicely seasoned, the Santa Fe omelet was large and flavorful. The chicken fried steak was a tad crisper than I normally prefer, but it was still better than lots of them that I have had. The price was reasonable (two full breakfast platters with beverages for under $30). Overall, a great experience. My wife and I have decided to add this to our regular rotation of breakfast restaurants. (Our number 1 is still the Apache Grill down in Searcy, but this is a close second)

The fish plate was amazing and was delicious. We were great surprised and please with the price. For 12.99 we got a three piece fish , two vegetables plus a piece of pie. Great place!

Great food, great people, and great mission! Cannot recommend enough!

This place looks like it could have potential, but honestly, we threw everything but 2 biscuits and a scone away . We were traveling through and picked up sausage gravy and biscuits for 4 and a blueberry scone,$36 wasted . The Gravy was so watery/oily and did not taste good at all, tasted only of oil and flour. None of our 4 could stomach it. The blueberry scone was, however, thankfully good. Also, other reviews show donuts, but they allegedly haven't sold donuts for years. It's also called Hobnob now.
