The Hive Restaurant

I drove out to Yuma Az, from Peoria Az and decided to stop by a town called Wellton Az. I used to live out here years ago. So I stopped by The Hive; atmosphere felt nice and inviting. I had the Ribeye steak dinner and my friend had the pizza. I love eating great food; this place was exceptional. Food was sooo good. I love supporting mom and pop restaurants. The price blew me away... The bill was so low I was very surprised... Kuddos to The Hive for making excellent food and having great service.

Ordered a patty melt and a the burger with chili's and jack cheese both with onion rings they were beer battered very tasty my burger was kind of dry not much sauce , the coke tasted like the syrup was turned down or watered down, the burgers were single patty $55.90 after a 15% tip think the watered down cokes were $4.50 each $18.00 each on the burgers $1 upcharge for onion rings. Being a yuma restaurant guide i think they we're way over priced for the food we got. But on the up side there's lots of seating available

I recently moved to Wellton with my small family and decided to pop into The Hive to see what all the buzz was about. Unfortunately we did not get the same joyful welcome as others. Our waitress never checked on us. Once. Our food took 45 minutes. I’m okay with that because I like hot food and that it was. However with absolutely no flavor. Unfortunately as locals we will not come back

Stopped for breakfast on a road trip from Phoenix to San Diego. We had a great breakfast which included light and fluffy pancakes, yummy hash browns, eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffee was good too! I don't often take time to review places but had to do one for this place! They deserved it!

Wonderful to find a little out of the way place that's absolutely great. Chanced upon The Hive driving from San Diego to Phoenix. Small, unpretentious family run restaurant serving wonderful, reasonably priced dishes including the best fried chicken that I've had in a long while. Wonderful breakfast today
