The Hidden Oak Café

My boyfriend took me on a surprise date here and I was absolutely in love with the experience. They had wonderful tea selections, sandwiches and desserts were delightful, even the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall great experience and would recommend. Especially if you're looking to do something special but cozy in the winter. Thank you Hidden Oak Cafe!!

Great afternoon tea experience on a chilly day overlooking snowy grounds of the estate. This was our 1st tea- adult mom & adult daughter celebrating fall birthdays. The hospitality & service reminded us of being on a cruise, very attentive & informative. We shared a crafted salad that our server assisted with designing before the start of tea service. So good! Yummy across the board. Mom adds, “ In my 85 years, this was one of my top dining experiences, delightful, delicious & relaxing!”

We had a fantastic lunch at the Hidden Oak Cafe. They offer an excellent assortment of wraps, sandwiches, soups and Salads. They have an incredible assortment of teas. Nice ambiance with beautiful park-like views, this is a worthwhile stop when visiting the arboretum.

Great time at the cafe. Sat outside, a little chilly deep under the awning and not the most amazing view than the direct balcony areas but still very nice. Great break space between hiking around. The quiche and scones were great, scone could be split between two even since it was quite large.

They have a Victorian Tea at the Cafe. We made a reservation for a Saturday afternoon a day before. The Victorian Tea was $42.95 a person plus tax and automatic 20% tip so for 2 people, the bill was $110.49. Each person gets a tea pot. The scone and pistachio cake were good. The decor in the tea room was nice though. We came in a relatively hot day and they had fans out since there was no AC.
