The Heritage Table

All of the food that we have tried has been absolutely wonderful! The restaurant is beautifully made and decorated with photography of our local landscape and very clean and neat. The last time we ate there, it was our 31st wedding anniversary and they found out and prepared us the prettiest specially made dessert. 💛 We are so thankful for this restaurant just minutes from our house!

We tried the Bush Mill waffle and it was absolutely incredible — a savory waffle topped with crispy fried chicken, a fried egg, avocado and tomato. The portion size is huge and everything is perfectly seasoned. We also had a sweet waffled topped with peaches, a scoop of ice cream and caramel sauce. Also amazing. They even offer a gluten-free waffle that’s just as delicious as the original. I saw some vegetarian options on the menu as well. We went on a Saturday evening, so there was a dinner special. A burger with a house made bun and local beef. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for families. Every dish at our table was a hit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for excellent food and peaceful atmosphere.

This place is well worth the drive. When you first walk in you are greated by wonderful home made desserts. Nothing from the freezer here. I had the Fort House waffle and it was amazing. Everything was fresh and tasted like food used to. The staff was very friendly and happy to be there. I watched them getting my peach cake out of the oven thru the big window into the kitchen. Can't get any fresher than that. I will be back often.

AMAZING little treasure in Nickelsville! Food is absolutely delicious! Service is superb! Staff, some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! Cozy ambience! Make you feel like family! We had the grilled chicken sandwich and the cheesecake. Everything feels like it’s made from scratch! The food is so good, it’ll make you want to call your mama, your aunty, and your cousin to tell em’ all about it! Highly recommended! 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband said he wanted to try a new place called Heritage Table. So we drove 45 min to get there. When you first walk in you are greeted with a cabinet of desserts. We picked ours before we sat down. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. We asked her what she would pick out if the bush mill and fort house waffles. She said they were both her favorite. So we decided to each get one of each and share. When it came out it looked so delicious. I cut into the fried chicken and it was so tender. The sauce was excellent. The whole thing was so dang on good. I have to admit I only ate half because I wanted one of the exquisite desserts from out front. Our desserts came and I got a tempered bowl of chocolate with chocolate mousse in it with whipped cream and a raspberry. I dug right in and
