The Gyro Shop

Stopped by The Gyro Shop tonight for the first time, and wow! This place is incredible! The customer service was phenomenal! I couldn’t decide on what I wanted, so the gentleman recommended the Colossal Bowl, and he was absolutely on point! Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! I just found my new favorite place to eat in Hinesville!!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. By far my favorite food in Hinesville. The gyros taste so delicious and are very filling. The falafel is awesome, the hummus and ziki is great. The soft pita is also amazing. If you are a vegan or vegetarian the vegan/vegetarian gyro (with falafel) is also awesome. The business itself is nice, the employees and owners are even nicer. They are friendly and warm. I love this business. I forgot to take a photo of the food I got today until i had almost completely demolished my gyro and falafel. Whether your order is large or small, it still comes out very fast,

Pretty good gyro shop. Super friendly people behind the counter and it even have a speedy drive through! The meat was moist and the sauce was pretty good! The hummus was very good along with the chips. It’s not the traditional taste I am used to but it definitely scratched the itch I’ve been having for a gyro!

The food is incredible and the service is amazing. I used to always enjoy the fajita gyro. This time I tried the rice bowl and probably going to make it my go to meal. I just might have to go once a week! So good.

I had been hearing a lot about this restaurant since it's been under new management and decided to give it a try. The place was empty when I visited, so I was able to order immediately. I didn't have to wait too long for my food to be prepared. They have two stacks of menus sitting on the counter. When I entered, I grabbed one thinking that was the entire menu, but it was only one page. So, if you're taking a menu to go, be sure to grab a page from both stacks. The owner and the cooks were very nice. We chatted as I awaited my food. The food was just okay. Perhaps, because I've been to Greece and had authentic food, I'm a bit biased.
