I love the pizza! My favorite in Houston so far! We tried the margarita and the dream catcher. Amazing. It is not heavy at all you can eat the whole pizza with no problem. Fully recommended!
Gypsy Poet was the latest date night stop for my partner and I and it did not disappoint. The pizza was amazing and some of the best we've had since our move to Houston. They don't do much other than pizza and salads. We tried the Sicilian Journe and while I would definitely try it again, every time a pepperoni pizza walked by us I craved one, the pepperoni looked so crispy. The crust on the pizza was excellent 👌🏽. I would highly recommend taking a seat at the bar if it is available. They have an open kitchen concept with a great view of the pizza oven, o enjoyed watching the pizza bake and the crew on the back working hard from preparing the dough, prepping the pizza and then the oven process. Parking lot is definitely small and can fill fast so plan ahead and be prepared to walk of nee
My wife and I tried this spot last min on a Saturday evening. We wanted to check out something different. There was a bit of a line out the door but we decided to wait it out. It was well worth it. We ordered two Pizzas, the Fancy Backpacker and the Dream Catcher. We also got the portobello salad. All three were great. Was surprised at how well tasting the salad was. Very filling, we had plenty for leftovers. The staff was all super friendly as well, we easily found a spot at the bar to eat. We got lucky with parking but I could see why people could be frustrated with limited parking spaces. Overall, this was a great last min date night for us and I could definitely see us coming back very often.
Great service and the pizza is so yummy! I love how it already came with Parmesan and crushed red pepper. Also reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!!! They are Cashless (except for tips) 😊
Spontaneous try and so glad we did! I had a vegan/gluten free pizza with truffle oil and don’t let the appearance fool you, it was quite delicious! I’ve had gluten free crust other places and it’s just not that great (texture-wise it’s usually spongey or hard as a rock). The fresh basil added that extra “umph.” My husband got the Cappellone with the extra toppings and he enjoyed his as well. Note: the pizzas are all cooked in the same place, so just a heads up if you have a gluten allergy (they are very up front about cross contamination). I will be back!
