The Guest House Dexter

We had the most divine stay at the Guest House of Dexter! From top to bottom, our experience was warm, restful, and delightful! This historic home has been restored with such loving care and is absolutely stunning. It was spotless and cozy and we found both our room and the common spaces to be luxurious and beautiful. We loved having breakfast every morning— it was delicious— and Auburn took such great care of us! We arrived at 10 PM the day of our check in and she left chocolate chip cookies for us, a special note, and the porch light on! This place is going to be booked up so fast for the rest of the year— we were lucky to be coming through in February and be able to get a room! It’s like home away from home, but the one of your dreams… and better.

This place is absolutely AMAZING. The decor is charming, warm and inviting. We booked 2 rooms. Room 1 on 1st floor had a king size bed, full size closet and lovely bathroom. Very very clean, well maintained and decorated beautifully. My son and his family stayed on the 3rd floor . King size bed, pulled out tremble bed, couch, table and kitchette . Food was delicious! She provided made from scratch breakfast both days. We will definitely stay here again!

The best BnB I've ever stayed in. Quiet, clean, fully renovated true to the original style, and wonderfully decorated. The staff was personable, genuinely friendly, and very accommodating. They even made me gluten-friendly muffins! Breakfast each day was a delicious indulgance. You had me at "side of crispy bacon". ♥️

The Guest House turned our trip to Michigan from amazing to fabulous! The entire house was super clean, comfortable and charming. Our bed was luxurious and the temperature in our room was very cool even though they stated that the room ran warm. It was a very welcoming space to call home for the weekend. No detail was missed renovating this beautiful house and the breakfast was great. We had a fun time exploring Dexter which was perfect walking distance from the home and enjoyed our short scenic ride to Ann Arbor for the Zach Bryan concert. There wasn’t a thing I would change!

The Guest House is a hidden gem! It is full of charm and warmth, and the rooms are so beautifullyyy decorated + have beautiful vintage touches. It was incredibly clean + updated and everything we could’ve needed was provided - including a delicious free breakfast with lots of options and snacks/coffee/water right in our room. The location in Dexter is simply perfect - walking distance from the cutest shops and restaurants, it felt like the sweetest getaway from busy life. Our host was incredibly generous and attentive, would recommend this inn to anyone & everyone - 10/10. :)
