The Grind Cafe Airport

We stopped here while waiting to board. I talked to the male worker there about dark vs milk chocolate in their hot chocolate. He confirmed it was milk chocolate and stated they use 'real chocolate'. I told him that sounded great as I like it sweet and ordered their largest size (20+ ounces). What I received was warm milk. It didn't even have a tinge of brown. When I asked for more chocolate I was told no. When I offered to pay for it I was told no. When I asked for a refund I was told no and belittled. So I turned around and put it in the trash. At that point the guy began yelling at me that I was banned from the airport. In disbelief I asked what and why and he told me my behavior was aggressive. I told him I would gladly leave the Cafe but would remain in the airport. Horrible

Barista said he had to check for change since I paid in cash. I said I would like ones instead of a five. He decided that meant since he didn't have correct change he could just overcharge me. (There was plenty of change in the tip jar.) I told him he should err on the side of the customer but he refused. It's not the amount of money that matters, it's the principal that ripping me off was the best solution that I object to. The product was mediocre to boot.

They had pre made sandwiches it was turkey and cranberry. Wilted lettuce and one super thin piece of turkey with cranberries. It was not good, it was old and when I asked if I could trade it for something else I was told that I couldn’t. Don’t waste your money on food here

Great customer service, coffee, local treats at the airport, plus reading materials and places to charge up and enjoy cappuccino or lattes.

Google and their own site says they're open for normal hours. The sign at the actual location says they'll be open whenever they feel like it based on the flight schedule. We skipped coffee and lunch in town to get something here but they were closed until it was time to go through the TSA. The food looked poor quality when they did eventually open though so we opted for vending machine snacks until we could get to a better spot.
