The Green Room

April has built an amazing space here in LaPorte called The Green Room at The Studio. Just like her, the space is wonderfully eclectic and full of amazing energy. Stepping off the bike and inside that front door felt inviting and warm. Laporte is lucky to have such a beautiful space in their town. I’ll definitely be coming back over summer as it’s wonderful to have a destination to look forward to riding to regularly far enough away and so welcoming. It may seem strange, but strangely proud to know her and be a witness to what she has accomplished here.

Very well appointed, with really unique custom cocktails, and mocktails, just an overall upscale vibe. The food looked very well plated and delicious as well!

Such a cool little spot for live music and good food. We enjoyed the meatball platter, which was a little spicy but not too much. A nice kick! We also snacked on the meat and cheese platter. Live music was great and the space was inviting.

What a great experience! Great hosts, excellent live music, amazing food and the best cocktails and beer selection we've had in Laporte. Worth the trip for sure! 5/5

My best friend and I came across this place when the owner, April, had a test opening back in October. We were smitten with the place and knew right away that we were going to return once she reopened. During that time, she transformed and remodeled the place, making it even more cozy and inviting! It is child-friendly, however, there is a beautiful bar, kitchen, and it rolls into a studio space for events. This place is perfect for those looking for a more classy place to hang out around LaPorte. All the food we tried was very delicious! She has put a lot of work into it since the first time we were there, and she truly deserves it! She is spunky and sweet, as well as the rest of the crew.
