The Green Olive Ventura

This market offers authentic Mediterranean cuisine, and the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chicken kebab plate, which came with flavorful rice, fresh green salad, creamy hummus, and pita bread. We also tried the tabbouleh, Greek salad, and an extra chicken kebab. Everything was delicious. The place is clean and well-kept. While the service wasn’t overly friendly, it was efficient and professional, which makes sense since it’s more of a market than a sit-down restaurant. That’s the only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five. We ordered our food to go while visiting Ventura (staying in a hotel nearby), and we’ll definitely be back to Green Olive Ventura next time. 👍👍

Ok! Found this little "local" gem!! I kind of think the locals won't really want me to spill the beans but the food here is DELICIOUS !!! It's a little hard to find because it's actually in the back end of this market! There's a decent bar section in the back where you can get beer and a glass of wine... if you're in the area, check this gem out and enjoy the middle-eastern food here!!

Amazing Mediterranean food. My favorite Greek slaad-the dressing is delicious. Plates are plentiful. Meats are always juicy and flavorful. One of my favorite hummus to eat as well. Online ordering is available.

This is basically the deli counter inside a grocery store. Not an issue for takeout but don't expect a restaurant. I ordered here because of the uniformly strong reviews. I ordered a combo plate so had basically some of everything. I'm not sure what the issue was but the food was pretty much inedible. It was uniformly overcooked, flavorless and dry. Maybe they had an off night.

Food was great. I would definitely order here again for take out. Was clean and cool. The service was just meh. The girl who was serving was friendly and polite but not very attentive to the patrons eating. When the food was brought out the man was on his phone and didn't ask if we needed anything else. They forgot my baba gaboush and when I reminded her she said I didn't know you still wanted it. Which was confusing because I did order it. Beers were good and food was really good. If they try a bit more on the service it would help. Overall good.
