The Grayson B&B +Extended Stays

My husband and I have stayed at this bed and breakfast several times. We've been at this bed and breakfast more often than any other. Some of our favorite things about this place are the peacefulness, beauty of the home inside and out, and amazing hosts. |It Feels Like Home Away From home. We've always had a very comfortable stay with beautiful rooms and clean bathrooms. Our house is always been so friendly and kind. She's gone out of her way to make wonderful breakfast often using the produce from her own garden and eggs.|Some bed and breakfasts you stay at you really interact with the house and you either don't interact with the other guys or you sit at a giant table with all the guests around it and are forced to interact.|I like the fact that you have a choice here don't interact with

Our stay at the Grayson was wonderful. Miriam and Mark are gracious hosts and the house is beautiful with lots of space inside and out. My one warning is that if you're allergic to dogs or cats, this may not be the place for you. However... if, like us, you love animals, then the extra attention of the cats, dogs, chickens and rabbits makes this a fabulous experience. (No, they're not all in the house!) The room (Cascade) was nicely appointed and having the deck to relax on was nice. Especially after the stair-master hike up to Wallace Falls (strenuous, but highly recommended). The front garden provides exquisite vegetables for Miriam's amazing breakfasts. That was definitely a highlight of our stay and all I can say is "save room for breakfast" (yum!). We had a lovely stay at the Grayson. We booked to stay in Pike room for one night and upon arrival, Miriam offered to upgrade us to Baker room which was very kind of her. The room was clean, comfortable and the whole stay was very restful. We enjoyed seeing the various animals: the dog, the cats, the rabbits and the chickens. The breakfast was delicious and Miriam went out of her way to accommodate our specific dietary needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Grayson!

We stayed one night at The Grayson Bed & Breakfast and absolutely loved it. We came with our 1.5-year-old and our dog, and Marian couldn’t have been more welcoming. She made all of us, baby and pup included, feel completely at home. It’s rare to find a place that’s so genuinely family and pet-friendly. The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, and the common area is spacious, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The whole property has a peaceful, calming vibe. Outside, there’s a lovely bit of land with chickens and rabbits roaming around, which our little one absolutely loved. What made the stay really stand out was how at ease we felt, it didn’t feel like a hotel or rental, it felt like staying with a friend. That kind of comfort is hard to come by. And breakfast - wow! This was the BEST stay I've ever had in a B&B. Miriam is a wonderful host who makes the most decadent breakfasts, the house is fantastic and super clean. The grounds around the home are relaxing and beautiful also. I was here on a work trip, but I look forward to returning when I can explore more of the area on my own time (and be spoiled by Miriam's breakfasts again!).
