The Granary

Had a delicious NYE dinner there this year. Our go-to, Deep Blue at Kitty Knight was closed and we ended up here to be on the water to close out the year. Service was spot-on, drinks delicious and our meals was first-rate. My Jambalaya, featuring a perfectly prepare filet of blackened catfish was just what I was looking for.

The views were beautiful, my fiancé and I got there just before sunset. I ordered the 12oz sirloin which was smothered in a red wine sauce and mushrooms and was exquisite. The vegetable medley was flavorful along with the mashed potatoes which created the perfect duo. I would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful veiws of the Sassafras! The food is great, LOVE the Beet Salad. My daughter and I sat in the bar area to watch the baseball game and you can still see the water. Cozy place to relax.

as a child we often had dinner in the old Granary. Our boat docked nearby. it was dark and had the feel of a cabin in the woods. I don't recall quality . but it was a welcoming place dark and warm. this newish version has its own charms and I visit as often as I can.

It's a totally different experience in the winter. We come here a lot during the summer while we are boating and it is usually packed. In the winter not so much. Either season the food and staff are great.
