The Golden Bear - Apple Creek, OH

Easy access, lots of parking. Fast service. Enjoyed the Butter pecan ice cream. My wife enjoyed the golden bear claw. The Butter pecan ice cream was browner than any other Butter pecan I have ever had. Nice creamy taste.

Mid food. Average ice cream stand food. I personally thunk the quality has declined since the latest owner transition. Hope to update with a more positive review. This place is within walking distance and we used to love it!

I've driven by this place several times and never stopped. Today I got the chance to and I was not disappointed in the least. I ordered four things; the Big Grizzly, truly a big burger, The Philly steak wrap, and absolutely delicious take on a Philly steak sandwich, onion rings, which had to be some odd the crunchiest onion rings I've ever had, and a peanut butter shake, a little cold for a 55 degree day but a good shake all the same especially if you like Reeces cups. And the workers here were friendly too. I'll definitely be stopping by again when I'm back in the area.

Food is decent but everything on the menu is way too expensive for what it is.Ice cream is soft serve and not worth the price, side of fries and other sides are very small for the price of $4 and the double cheeseburger should not be $8.Paid $13 for a double cheeseburger and a side and that’s not including a drink.Prices are too high especially when there is no dining in and everything is shabby,dusty and dirty.The whole atmosphere especially where you eat is not very appealing with dirty oil containers and flies everywhere.Lower your prices, brighten the place up, be more generous with the food and do something about the dining area.Could be a lot better and a money maker with little effort.

We were in town from Summit County for a hazardous materials class at the Wayne County Regional Fire/EMS training facility and this was recommended to us for lunch! Excellent local spot with good prices, good portions, fast service, and great food! We'll be back again soon!
