The Gobbler Grill

TL/DR: Came to find a slice of Broadway and found it. Will return when back in town! Food: Lot's of options. We had two types of burgers, grilled chicken, fries, and mac and cheese. Each thought the food to be very good. Mac and cheese was very good. Service: Very hospitable servers made us feel welcomed. Felt informed and cared for. Atmosphere: A little bit older of a setting as you'd expect for a small town diner. Nothing was off or out of place but just older. Great place. Should you venture 5 minutes off of I-81 for a bite to eat? Yes if you have the time and want something other than chain restaurant. This is a perfect small town stop.

Stopped in while traveling from New York and could not have a more pleasant experience. Our server was fantastic and super informative. The food was great. Highly recommend the nachos. Would definitely return!!!

We were in town for the day, I like to support local businesses, so what better way than The Gobbler Grill. I assumed named after the local high school mascot. There were only 2 tables with customers seated at them when we walked in around 11:30 AM. We were spoken to from a young lady across the room, "sit where ever you like". After sitting ourselves at a booth, an extension time went by before a waitress came to get our drink order. A waitress was at another table being chit chatty before the second waitress came for our drink order. I order sweet tea with lemon, tea arrived not lemon, asked again for a lemon, never got one, so I stopped asking. Ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer. My family and I stopped here on May 7th around 3pm for lunch on our way through from Pennsylvania. Our server greeted us right away and was very friendly. There was a group of 6 of us, and we didn't wait long for our food at all. We got a mix of burgers and sandwiches and everything was good. A little dark and cluttered inside, but overall we were pleased and would return if we find ourselves in this part of the state. Thank you. :)

First off: normally not a huge Ranch fan, but I could drink their homemade version by the gallon… really, just SO good! A must with the Bacon-Cheese Fries. I ordered a Chicken Tender Salad, and yum… chicken was crispy perfection, plenty of yummy cucumbers and greens. My buddy ordered the Cheeseburger, said it was amazing. Even made me take a pic (see below). We were looking for an easy and affordable quick bite, and this place definitely did the trick. Located on Mainstreet in Broadway. Will be back.
