The Goat Bar and Grill

Food was mid, service excellent, typical bar atmosphere. Went for the wing special @ 75 cents each and they were average. The GOAT sauce was good, a combo of hot, ranch, and butter & garlic. All of the food was edible and decent, but nothing was great. Hot sandwiches come with a vegetable - in this case it was canned peas, not appetizing. A typical Pennsylvania bar with a food menu, not making an intentional trip back.

Food is always great. Service is fair, we are usually a good size group so i get it. Wings and burgers anytime, fish specials and goat fries are the heavy hitters.

NOT rating the actual restaurant because I ate at their building during fair week. I was pretty excited to try their wings and something entirely different that our fair generally offers. They had 6 wings for $6. Still a crazy price for wings that never came down due to Covid. Took the chance and ordered some plus a basket of fries. The fries were delicious and the basket was heaping full. Two people could share for sure. The wings, I presume were precooked, were mediocre. Two flavors were ordered, butter n garlic and GOAT). The butter n garlic were really lacking flavor. Seriously like little to no garlic at all. I had to salt both the wings and sauce. The GOAT sauce was better but not a sauce I would order again. The waitress (Taylor) there was amazing!! it was a Monday night, and very busy. she was the only one there. She was kind and got everyone their drinks and meals. She did not skip a beat. The goat wings were very good! We will be coming back to the Goat. Good food, great service. What more can you ask for.

Fish great,no substitution Waiter should work at a gas station.He sure didn't like his job.Tip reflected that.
