The Gauger House & Fay Flower + Food Farm

We had a fantastic experience renting a room in this house. From the start, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room itself was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—plenty of natural light, a very comfortable king size bed, and enough space to feel at home. The house was well-maintained, quiet, and had a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Shared spaces like the kitchen, living room, and laundry were always tidy and fully equipped, which made day-to-day living really convenient. Great balance of privacy and community. Gabi was friendly, helpful and the communication was excellent—any questions or messages were responded to quickly, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. The farm is truly a gem, with stunning views and a serene atmosphere that makes for a perfect getaway. Their hospitality stands out; they are friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions or needs. It’s evident that they genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding and wedding party for the weekend at the Gauger estate. Gabi helped me shape my vision for the property, created a warm welcoming environment and helped us pull off the best weekend ever. The house is gorgeous and styled to perfection. This place is truly a hidden gem. We have been to a few events that always feel like you’re a part of their family. It’s a community and environment that is truly lacking in this day and age. We had an extremely special stay at The Gauger House. We were very happy to find the Farm View Suite vacant for the weekend, but did not expect such a treat when booking. Gabi and Michael were very warm hosts and told us all about the history of the house. Gabi has fixed this house up while maintaining its midcentury charm perfectly. They were also very gracious in allowing guests to use anything in the kitchen and hang out in the common areas. They took being hosts to another level! The farm and property were beautiful, as was the produce for sale. We will absolutely be returning in the future!

My two kids and I had a lovely stay at the Showbiz Suite! It was meticulously decorated in retro style, and so comfortable. Every detail was thought of. The property is also so peaceful. We stayed here after going to Sterling Renaissance Festival and are so glad we found it. We also loved arriving to a little farm stand and buying some local treats.
