The Galata Butcher Grill

We were in the area and need some Baba Ganoush and Hummus. This place came up in a Google search. Gentleman working there was very helpful. The Baba Ganoush was amazing as was the fresh bread that goes with it. We even put it on some Borek that we had bought elsewhere. Looking forward to eating in and having some Kebab. Highly recommend.

The food selection at this restaurant is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The service is good, with attentive staff. However, the portion sizes and meat quality, while acceptable, could be improved.

Absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and full of flavor, perfectly grilled and served beautifully on a large wooden platter. The presentation with the fire was amazing ,it really made the experience special. Everything tasted fresh, from the rice to the lavash bread. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and authentic. Highly recommend this place if you want real Turkish food!

The Galata Butcher Grill is still a 5-star gem for Turkish grill lovers! Juicy kebabs, fresh breads, and generous portions keep me coming back. The ambiance feels authentic, service is warm. That said, about 2 years ago the flavors were even more explosive…..meats had deeper seasoning, rice more aromatic. Hoping they bring back that bold taste! Still highly recommend.

Good food overall. It was not as good as some other Turkish restaurants but given the reasonable pricing of the food, it's well worth it. Service and ambiance in the restaurant was very good. We ordered the Shared Family mixed platter, which is good for up to 4 people. First time here and will be back again in future.
