The Frozen Farmer

Oh, YUM! Not only is this place ridiculously cute, their ice cream is mad good! They have flavors I've not seen before like sweet corn and strawberry pretzel salad. We took a couple quarts home - the pumpkin pie and the stenhouse special, which has a bunch of goodies in it like peanut butter, chocolate chunks, pretzels, and I'm not sure what else, but it's fantastic! While we were there, one of the staff gave us a sample of the special Danish mini pancakes (Poffertjes) they were making. They were so tasty with a hint of pumpkin. Really friendly, young staff. I hope they're getting paid well because they presented a great face for the company! Also of note- the frozen farmer is attached to the Evans farm market. Between the two places, you can get a ton of incredible edibles!

After reading all of the hype on social media about the donuts, I decided to give them a try. Safe to say I was extremely disappointed! They are for sure aesthetically pleasing but were very dry. I’d give the donuts a 2/5 stars. The icecream on the other hand is great!

The Frozen Farmer produce are quality items. Their ice cream is has a very texture delicious flavor. Many flavors and dessert items. Very clean and neat produce store. I enjoyed my shopping. The store personel were very friendly and courteous.

A must stop if you are anywhere in the area! We were coming back from Virginia Beach so it was a perfect stop. Ice cream, bacon, produce, bakery- including Whoopie Pies, drinks and homemade jelly and jams and more. The banana split is the absolute go to here!

I wanted to purchase the box of 12 ice cream flavors advertised as a Christmas offer. I was unable to call and ask questions. The phone rang out and voice mail was full. I went to the store in person. I asked if I could have the ice cream box for my anniversary 11/29. The earliest it is available is 12/1. Ok, so the gift would be a little late. I said my husband's favorite ice cream was pistachio. They do not make that flavor and you can not pick any flavors. The 12 ice cream flavors are their choice not yours. The young girl was very sweet and was truly concerned that they could not accommodate what I wanted. I left without placing an order.
