The Front Yard

Took my mom here for brunch and overall we had a really nice time. The space is beautiful — very Palm Springs energy with the greenery, open patio, and warm California light. It feels like a little escape in the middle of Studio City. My mom loved it, which automatically makes it a win. We had a couple glasses of wine and the bill actually came out pretty reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise for a place that looks this polished. A couple things that were slightly annoying: they make you wait at the bar if your table isn’t ready (which is fine), but then you have to close out your tab at the bar before going to your table. Needed a restaurant for a client lunch and found Front Yard in my search, turned out to be a good find at that. We shared an order of brussel sprouts and their "not to be missed" chive flat bread. The brussels were nicely roasted and with a nice zing from the Chili's. The flat bread was good, but you could miss it for other options. Two of us had the Royale with cheese (burger) and one had the BLT Banh MI sandwich. We all elected fries as our side. The burger was beautifully cooked & juicy, and the special sauce added to the flavor profile. The seasoned fries were some of the best I've had recently. My colleague enjoyed the Banh MI as well. Service was friendly, if a bit slow. The restaurant is large with many different area, including a large patio. They have a full bar.

Visiting from out of town and the restaurant was recommended to us. The atmosphere and weightstaff were great. But the food was just average and overpriced. Im trying to bash. Just an example was an appetizer of Rockefeller type Scallops, but they were baby (dime size) at best. The rest of my party were equally disappointed in their meals. But nice atmosphere, drinks and service.

My first time to this place and I must say I had an amazing Dinner with my friend here the place is stunning , food is excellent and the servers are super nice to clients. It’s a great place to dine for a date, friends or family place designed warm We had the Cesar salad and flat bread for starters and shared the big steak with the fingers potatoes with shishito peppers and it was wowwww!!! They have great drinks as well If you go there you absolutely need to try their steak I ate many steaks in my life in very known places and I must say this one was by far one of the best they cooked it perfectly! We stopped by for Happy Hour and there was a dish that was incredibly good - the caramelized Brussels sprouts! Coming from a ‘meat-tarian’ that is quite a feat for me to even say that was my favorite dish. I will suggest you request for the Brussels sprouts to be made extra caramelized . It taste better that way. Royale with Cheese is a Burger dish served with adobo fries. Quite a generous serving! Chicken tinga sliders is just ok. Not my fave. SoCal Vibes Co Orange cider was very very good! Steve was an incredible host. He took care of us well throughout. I was so pleased with our experience I left a generous 35% tip. It was well deserved.
