My family decided to give this place a try while on a camping trip at Lake Houston Wilderness Park. We decided on a whim to grab some food while we were out buying some needed supplies. We tried the pulled pork fries, wings, pulled pork sliders, smash burger and lemonade. Let me tell you, everything is freshly made. Be ready to wait a bit as the food is prepared once ordered. It's well worth the wait, as you are literally getting a home cooked meal. The fries were fresh cut real potatoes and were full of flavor. The pulled pork was tender and packed with flavor as well. The burger was one of the best we've tried, cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. The entire family enjoyed the food here. Oh and let me tell you about the fresh squeezed lemonade... literally the best we've tried anywhere

Just tried The Front Porch and it absolutely delivers. The food is fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. You can tell everything is made to order and not sitting around. The smash burger and fries were excellent, and the wings were some of the best I’ve had - crispy with great seasoning. The elote dog was a standout too. Everything tasted fresh and well thought out. What really surprised me was the value. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality. The $10 plates with fries and the $23 BBQ plate with three meats and two sides are a great deal. Good food, good vibes, and great prices. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
