The Floodgate Store

This is a lovely place to stop for breakfast. We stopped by around 10am on our way out of town and they had plenty of options that they make in-house for breakfast. We also had delicious drip coffee (but they do also have espresso varieties)! They are super friendly, we would definitely go back when passing through Navarro!

John served us with a warm smile and welcoming attitude. The panini sandwiches were delicious. The place is spotlessly clean, including the bathroom. It's now a must-stop place on our way to or from the coast.

Thoughtful touches like frozen coffee ice cubes in my cold brew make this place a must-visit spot that blends old-school charm with small-town warmth.

The Floodgate offers fantastic breakfasts and the best panini plus if you need a caffeine recharge, this is the place for an expresso-based coffee. And the owner is a friendly soul.

Great store, we were so happy to find it. The owner was super nice, the food was great. We got coffee, breakfast, a muffin and a beautiful salad for lunch with some deviled eggs. Will definitely come back. A real oasis, very healthy food choices.
